Will Google crash Facebook with +Post Ads?
If you are a Facebook Fan page owner you may have noticed that your posts reach is dropping down in the last period.
Recently Facebook announced that if you want your posts to reach a wider audience you have to pay more (surprise!). In fact, the structure of the newsfeed it’s limited and it can’t give the visibility to the thousands of Brands’ posts shared every single day. So, due to the competition, you will not see all the feeds of the pages you are following and to raise among the crowd you should pay every single post. Great! So your Facebook budget should like, double, triple, quadruple from now on?
May be, but what your focus should be is to create really high quality posts and evaluate more keywords and content.
This saturation will bring to a breaking point and someone else is thinking about a solution. This guy’s name is Google.
Couple of weeks ago Google announced a new way to advertise:
“…We’ve recently started testing a new, brand-friendly format: +Post ads. +Post ads allow a brand to take a piece of their public Google+ content, like a photo, video or even a Hangout, and with a few clicks, turn it into a display ad that can run across the more than 2 million sites in the Google Display Network. This lets brands think of the entire web as their social stream..”
This new strategy seems to attract more on Google+ and more companies advertise with Plus Pages. It’s a long time Google is trying to find a way to reach a wider audience with G+ and this looks like a really interesting news. With +Post advertisers can market across more than 2 million sites in the Google Display Network.
“..+Post ads will allow advertisers to start conversations right from the ad – consumers can reshare a video, leave a comment or a question for the brand, or even join a live Hangout”
The perfect timing and this outstanding new feature will make Google getting over Facebook in the long term?
Below the +Post and video.
