Many Social Media Managers are focusing mainly on a working week engagement. Depending on B2B or B2C the most appreciate days and hours are, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
B2B posts are engaged most during the working time and B2C mainly, from 8 am to 10 am, 12.30 to 14 pm and from 9 pm to 11 pm
But what about the weekends? Apparently, especially for Twittter, Sundays are the best days for engagement.
Based on an analysis of 3.6 million tweets, the best day for a brand to get the more retweets is Sunday. For every 350k tweets sent there is an average 43.9 retweets.
Of course, it depends on the brand, but it’s also true that weekends are days where people rest, explore and interact the most on social media. It’ also in these days people shop online and have more time to decide what and where to buy.
This means that now, even small businesses, can finally invest a minimum budget to get more engagement, followers, website clicks, leads and sales.
Finally, this is a good occasion for brands to start investing more on Twitter as part of their Social Media strategy and for Twitter, to involve a wider audience to advertise on the platform.
Before, Twitter ads was available just for a few advertisers and with a minimum monthly budget of $5k. Definitely not for all pockets!
