Let’s be honest. We all are addicted to internet and we spend so many time online that we don’t even know how much it is.
Every year something new catches our attention and makes us focus on a new website, feature, app or tool. But exactly, how do we spend our time online?

In the infographic above is the average time americans spent last year online. The study considered 5,000 adults with an age of 18 to 64.
Of course, one of the most time consuming activities is represented by social networks, with an average daily time of 37 minutes. The social americans prefer are Facebook and Twitter.
Email is the second most engaging activity we do online with an average time spent of 29 minutes a day. Emails are probably the only one activity mentioned above that is taking us more than half an hour a day if we consider working time.
Online video is rising rapidly in the chart of our interests online. With 23 minutes daily, videos are becoming one of the most loved content online. Over 6 billion of hours are spent monthly to watch videos on YouTube and company as Netflix are building their empire on this big wave.

Online magazines and newspaper seems not to be interesting activities online ( just 3 and 5 minutes a day) but it looks like blogs are preferred by the internet audience.
Another big piece of the cake is represented by online games with 19 minutes a day, without considering the huge amount of time mobile users and commuters spend playing during the day.
