newspaper advertising

Bad time for paperboys. If newspaper advertising is falling so badly the same future will touch to the newspapers distribution. From 2008 to date almost 17$ billion have left newspapers adversing moving to other online and digital resources. But the digital ads will not save the daily and weekly printed copies. Digital ads saw a timid 1,5% upturn, definitely not enough to close the gap with the print.

Newspapers generated 17.3 billion U.S. dollars with print ads. Thats an 8.6 percent decrease compared with the year before.

Come andrà a finire l’editoria?
